Printing booklets from Word using the C9800 PS and PCL driver

To print a booklet you have to set up both the document properties and driver correctly.

Setting the Document Properties
- Select File > Page Setup
- Select the Paper tab
- Select the Paper Size combo box
- Select the A4 SEF 210x297mm item
- OK

Printing the Document using the PCL driver
- Select File > Print
- Click the Properties button
- Select the Size combo box > A4 SEF 210x297mm
- Select the Finishing Mode combo box > Booklet
- Select the Job Options tab
- Select the Output Bin combo box > Finisher (Face Down)
- Select the Staple combo box > 2 Staples
NB. Please ensure you do not try to staple too many pages together.
- Click OK > OK

Printing the Document using the PostScript driver
- Select File > Print
- Click the Properties button
- Click the Paper Source button
- Select the Page Size combo box > A4 SEF
- Select the Media Type combo box > Tray 1
- Click the Paper Source button
- Click the Finishing button > Long Edge Binding
- Select the Output Bin combo box > Finisher (Face Down)
- Select the Staple combo box > Saddle Stitch
- Select the Booklet Maker combo box > Standard Booklet > OK > OK

After opening the attached file, the following toolbar will be available for use at the top of your screen. You can navigate through the demo by using this toolbar. The functions are as shown below. In Macromedia Flash Player you can hover your mouse over each button to see its functionality.
