I get a print underrun / overrun error, the output is like a barcode or the text is cropped.

This problem can sometimes be caused by the cable.
Therefore, make sure the cable is:
* IEEE 1284 complian
* Less than 2 metres in length
* Connected directly to the PC and the parallel port mode in PC BIOS is set to the EPP.
If the problem persists remove software drivers such as Inkjet, Scanner , Zip drives etc. from [386 Enh] under system.ini.
