Where can I get Paper Profiles?

Paper Profiles can be obtained by following one of the 4 methods detailed below: 1. create paper profile in-house yourself 2. obtain paper profile from a third party company 3. obtain them from Best Web page 4. obtain them from Best CD-ROM 2
A more detailed explanation of the above methods for obtaining paper profiles now follows:
1. CREATE PAPER PROFILE IN-HOUSE YOURSELF
2. OBTAIN PAPER PROFILE FROM A THIRD PARTY COMPANY
Some third party companies may visit your site to create the paper
profiles on-site for you.
3. OBTAIN FROM BEST WEBPAGE
If you visit www.bestcolor.com
then it is possible to download paper profiles for specific printer
models.
When you have finished click on the register button (beside the
relevant paper profile) that you wish to download. You will have to
provide your contact details to Best before downloading the
profile.
4. BEST CD-ROM 2 (supplied in Best Colorproof Package)
The CD-ROM labelled Best Profiles is supplied in the Best Colorproof Wallet. The CD-ROM is clearly marked. After inserting the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive the following screen will appear:

From diagram 1, select Setup. After selecting Setup, a screen will appear requesting the user's chosen language.

The user must choose a language from the available list. For the purposes of this article, we will choose English. After choosing a language, the following screen will appear:

Next should be selected from the window of diagram 3. After pressing Next the following screen will appear:

As shown in diagram 4, the user must select Oki as the printer manufacturer.
The user will then be informed of the location where the Best paper profiles will be stored. Hence, the following screen will appear. If the user wishes to store the Best paper profiles in another location then the Browse button may be used for this.

After pressing the Next button of diagram 5, the following screen (diagram 6) will appear:

Shortly after pressing the Next button of diagram 6, a window will appear which states that the relevant files are being installed to the computer. After this information appears, the window of diagram 7 will be displayed.

The user should now press the Finish button. The Best paper profiles have been successfully loaded into the user's chosen directory.
